Linda Barker is without doubt the most worthless individual on TV at the moment, that's if you disregard Mr Brown, the celebrity colourist (advert)

Can anyone think of one positive thing to say about Linda Barker?

I take it that you have made an in depth study of Linda and her appearances on TV otherwise upon what are you judging her worth?

My suggestion to you is to perhaps turn off the TV, change channels, avert your eyes or leave the room when Linda puts in an appearance.

I do all of the above, however I can't avoid her. She's on Billboards, adverts, newspaper adverts (Even the Guardian and the Independent). I can't avoid her. She is everywhere

Unfortunately, your original post referred to her appearances on TV. I admit she is harder to shake off than something which is less hard to shake off but you have now created a Linda presence on what was originally a Linda free zone.

Shame on you. :nono:

She's sort of like Brake's Brothers Vans......

To explain.....

Some years ago I did a contract for a company that provided warehousing services for the frozen food distribution business. My job was to write some computer software to let them record damaged goods and track pallets. My life was full....

Anyway....their major client was a company called Brakes Brothers who drive around in beige vans and lorries with a stylised picture of a couple of chefs on the side.

I went from being blissfully unaware of Brakes Brothers to seeing them all over the place!

And as soon as Linda Barker was pointed out to me...I see her everywhere! Let's put a contract together for her advertising on Japanese TV.....

Joe :-)

I should suggest that the West African arms trade needs celebrity endorcement and site vists.

"Hello Mr Charles Taylor I have just sold $2m worth of land miles to the Lurd rebles, they're coming to Monrovia to see you. Do you want a sofa with 12 months interest free credit, David Seaman personally endorses it!!!!"

Why thank you Fletch. She should be put in the Hannibal lecter cell with Victoria Beckham. One grinning inanely, whilst the other pouts for Britain, who will last the longest?

I wonder that anyone buys a sofa from the company she does the ads for...

"Here's my new autumn range in puke green, dysentry brown and vulva pink..."

It's a shame those Currys price cutting scissors don't chop her own head off.

Cheers

Why the hell do they need her in that currys advert??? and even more so why do they need david seaman. The actress pretending to be a currys sales advisor telling us how much stuff is would be fine but i spend more time wondering why the HELL have they managed to link an ex-england goalie and an ex-changing rooms interior designer to an electrical store than actually taking in how much the stuff is.

Talking of adverts though what the hell do Barcleys think they are doing eh?

How much must it have cost to have that bird off friends doing the adverts? So that's where all the bank charges go.

Could be wrong but I'm sure that she is from these parts.

There is even an on line petition for this here (http://www.petitiononline.com/lindaoff/petition.html)

I was most surprised when I found out that Patrick Stewart, aka Captain Picard of Star Trek fame, is originally from Mirfield, West Yorkshire.
