I am sorry to learn of the death of George Bentley, aged 90, whose funeral is next Friday. You'd obviously have to be a good age yourself to remember George but many people will have been grateful to him in he past, not only for his love of football at Birley Carr, but as one of the founder commentators of the Hospital Commentary Service which relayed news of the Sheffield clubs' progress on match days, well before the advent of local radio. Thanks for all the pleasure you've given George via that service.
