hi madowl - did you ever find any, I need a load myself and I'm struggling to find a supplier

call the Council's Parks department and ask them - when I first got my allotment I rang round a few places to get quotes and I think they were one of the ones who delivered a lorry load, sorry can't remember how much they wanted.

Get the yellow pages out and ring all the tree surgeons (if you don't mind random content). They'll usually gladly supply free of charge as chippings are trade waste to them

What? they actually give them away?! It's not that I don't want to buy them as I know they are quite cheap, but I have no transport and can't get them home!!
and has I only need a couple of bags didn't really want to pay for delivery.
