Thought I'd join in the "fun" with saluting our own areas. As most of you know, I like where I live. I like the parks, the trees, the nice houses, the top schools, lower crime levels, the people, the proximity to the countryside, the proximity to amenities such as the town centre, Ecclesall Rd, Banner Cross, etc, and much more. No controversy needed, I just like where I live.

Parks? I didn't think there were any parks at Ecclesall!
Very nearby - Bingham, Endcliffe. Theres also the Ecclesall Woods.

They are nice parks, but I wouldn't say they were in Ecclesall. Bingham Park is at Greystones, and Endcliffe Park is way down Ecclesall Road, in student-populated Hunters Bar!

Glad to hear you like your surroundings....as i do mine
Bugger off, the lot of you! :)
I'm claiming Bingham Park and Endcliffe as my own. From my bedroom I can see Bingham Park, and from my living room (if I stretch a bit!) I can see Endcliffe Park. And I live in the Nether Greeny end of Ranmoor.

Endcliffe and Bingham Parks run from Hunters Bar up to Nethergreen, where they continue through Whiteley Woods up to Fulwood and Ringinglow.
There did used to be a small park at Ecclesall... Weetwood Gardens, where the old Ecclesall library used to be, but it has been built on now. I used to play there a lot when I was little as there weren't any other parks in the area.
Where I live now, I am within 2 minutes walk of 3 nice parks!

I live on Rustlings Road which is between Endcliffe and Bingham Parks. At the Local election I voted for councillors in the Ward of Ecclesall.
So I assume the parks are in Ecclesall

Hmm, isn't Rustling Road off Ecclesall Road (which does not form part of Ecclesall) rather than say Ecclesall Rd South which is in Ecclesall, as any fule know :D
Ah well, no matter...
