I know all the major sports centres will do aerobics but i was wondering if anyone knows of any smaller groups (near to the meersbrook area) that may do this.

There's a good aerobic class on Monday evenings 7.00pm - 8.00pm at Greenhill Junior School. Not quite Meersbrook area but not far away.
The class is really friendly, good music, good instructor.

The aerobics class is at Greenhill Junior School. I would imagine that you would come up from Woodseats along Chesterfield Road. Turn right at the traffic lights on the junction of Abbey Lane. Go along Abbey Lane to the roundabout. Turn Left up Bocking Lane. At the brow of the hill turn right signposted Greenhill. Go up this road to the shops and the small roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout and the school is directly on your right hand side. Turn into the gates and you can park in the school playground. You will see the cars. The class is £3. If you come bring a towel and water bottle - you'll need it. The instructor is called Stuart, he works us hard but you can go at your own pace.
