I saw a fox patrolling the grounds of Riverside Exchange the other night. Is it usual to see a fox so close to the City Centre? Has anyone seen one any closer?

I often see foxes near the city centre. I'm surprised there isn't a City Centre Hunt!

They are drawn into city centers by the easy pickings, half eaten take aways and such.

Can't blame 'em really.

I've seen foxes near the Harley in city centre before. It's not unusual they are just about everywhere.

We have a mother and 2 baby foxes live close by in Crookes - they regularly visit and steal the cat biscuits - they don't seem at all nervous of us. (The cats aren't too impressed though!)

Sly lil' foxes!

I just love Basil Brush. He's my hero.

Actually, around where I live, we do get quite few but put it down to the city farm just down the road.

Very common.

A few years ago I walked up the Moor returning from a late night party with a couple of friends. There were two foxes, one at the Manpower Services end and one near Debenhams. This was about 2am.

A couple of months ago in Leeds I saw a fox trotting down a motorway slip-road - just near the Halifax Offices on Lovell Park Road.

I've seen one (might not be the same one obviously) in the day around Solly Street where I work.

i know i'm right out of town, but i do have a couple of foxes about the sandygate area... one scared the crap out of me not too long ago on the way home from the pub. it stood right in front of me, not scared... wasn't threatening in any way, just a bit startling when you're trying to have a quiet walk home from your local!!!
