trentboy2 Â Â 10 #1 Posted July 18, 2006 Can anyone recommmend a decent cattery for my two cats? We're going away at the end of August and would be very grateful if you forumers could halp us out. Â We're not to fussed about price as long as they'll look after the cats well. Â Thanks in advance. Â Â tb
 Share this content via...
Plain Talker   11 #2 Posted July 18, 2006 a lot of catteries get booked up in advance, you need to get in early,  ther is a thread that already exists, somewhere on the forum which lists different catteris locally and suggesting which ones are to be avoided, and which ones are decent.  PT
 Share this content via...

zerocool   10 #4 Posted July 18, 2006 i use one in dinnington, forest view, (01909 562144) he's a lovely bloke and has top notch cages, with heaters, fun things and a seperate bit for them to sleep.  he can also open a small hatch to connect two cages together. My cat loved it!
 Share this content via...

Katya   10 #6 Posted July 18, 2006 I second Cloughfields - my cat seems to like it more there than at home as she gets well spoiled.  However, I suspect they will be well booked up by now. Good luck !
 Share this content via...
AstroKath   10 #7 Posted July 18, 2006 I've used Cloughfields cat hotel as well - they're pricey, but good.  I also use Roslin Mews & The Meers cattery, depending on how organised I am. Never had a problem with either of those. The Meers has changed ownership in the last year, and may therefore be a better option for a late booking. pedro1 Â Â 10 #8 Posted July 18, 2006 Try Morningside cattery at Ecclesfield, the people who run it are wonderful Totaly agree. Always take our cats here. They even have music piped into the area where the cats are kept so they don`t get lonely. The two bloke that run it are funny if they`re having a tiff. Last time they`d fallen out over a hose pipe.
