I finally got myself a new job after nearly three months in the casual laundry one. I leave next Wednesday and start the new one on the 28th - a week on Monday. I will be working in the x-ray department for a company which makes medical implants such as knee and hip replacement joints.

My cyber-leaving do is here next Wednesday night.

Congratulations sam...grovel grovel...now I know where to come when the other hip wants replacing.

Thanks for the encouragemnent. I had a phone call today saying I have got an interview on Thursday for another job.

After a lot of thought, I am going to go. Without giving too much away, it is what I really want (it's in the education sector), but I'd given it up as it's ages since I wrote.

This job doesn't start until September, and there will be two or three interviews involved. I feel that I might as well give it my best shot and see what happens.

In the meantime, I start my new job on Monday (which I'm looking forward to) and in the unlikely event that I'm successful for the other one, I will just have to face the dilemma.
