Do you think that this programme makes our area look dull and depressing.
It seems that this programme though not in sheffield but close seems to paint a bad picture.

I think Corrie is the worst for that.They seem to be obsessed with people going to/coming from Sheffield.They make it sound like a trip to the moon or a full scale expedition to the antarctic,or Bermuda triangle.

Maybe that's because a lot of people do come and go from Sheffield? I know at least half a dozen people who've moved to Manchester and I work with a few who commute from Sheffield and the surrounding area.

Generally, I think Yorkshire is portrayed in a positive and realistic light by TV companies. However, if I thought, I would ever have to go and live in live in Albert Square, I would probably commit suicide.

A lot of filming is done in the winter when places look gloomy anyway, maybe thats one of the reasons.
