Does anyone work at telewest? Has anyone worked for telewest? I have an interview looming nxt week and just wondered if anyone knew what its like to work there...?

speaking as a person who has worked here for over two years. Its fairly good for a call centre, the people are great, the staff benefits are brilliant, and the pay once you get to my level (Advanced Broad Band Licence) is 15400 - 17800.

you just have to remember that its a call centre and you will occasionally have to speak to customers who aren't happy, if you can handle that, and don't mind the hours (0800 - 2200) you'll fit in great.

To b fair though. I bet you are the kind of person that sees it as a career and are working full time days right?

Foook that. Its a bag of excrement. Fair does the pay can be good and the benefits are decent as long as you live in a Telewest area, but job satisfaction is a big no no. Ive been there for absolutely years and its gone downhill imo. And now that NTL have taken over its getting even worse.

All in all though its a decent enough place if you are just looking for some decent cash short term. dont get tied down there though.

i had previously worked for telewest for 9 months in the business sector, And it was probably the best job ive had in a long time...The only reason i left was due to the fact that my own business was taking off..

just be calm and ask a couple of questions always helps

Who you got your interview with? I work there and I'm really enjoying it the people I've met are great and friendly. I think you'll be fine

Get a respectable job like prostitute or pimp. ANYTHING is better than working for that lot!

i think it depends what department you in - ive heard different things about each one
