I went WW rafting the other week on the River Trent, there's a stretch of river set up for it specially and rafts and an instructor are provided by the club. Can't remember how much it cost, about 40 pounds each I think (need at least 8 people as they're 8 man rafts). Not in Sheffield though, this was Nottingham way.

I can highly recommend it though, it was great fun even if I did end up swallowing half the river!

hallam uni have a canoe club, you don't have to be a student to join either if you are interested.

Canoeing sounds like good fun, but was just wondering how many non-students actually are members of the club?
