Jason has just said that if a woman hits him or slaps him he would hit her back.

He should be thrown out for even saying this.

Personally I don't agree.

Violance of any kind is wrong. However if the question is:

its OK for a women to hit a man but the man cant hit back?

then I am afraid you are wrong.

I agree. If someone hits you, regardless of gender, you should be able to retaliate with similar force. I generally abhorr violence, but you can't be expected to just take it. Women can still hurt men, after all.

WHAT IS FAIR ABOUT A WOMAN HITTING A MAN???
WHY IS THAT OKAY?!

Sounds like this Jason is treating women as equals to me. Isnt that a good thing?

I did not say it was ok for a woman to hit a man, but he would not think twice about hitting a woman and it`s that subject I asked about.

Was he right to say so on national tv, at that time of day.

Why Not ? It's not offensive..... If I said that I'd hit a fella back would you be offended ? Works both ways

You are not on national tv and I don`t know what has happened in your life because i don`t know you but I did see what happened on bb and in that context he should not have said it, in the so matter of fact way he did.

Wake up and get of your moralistic high horse. Its not offensive to say what he did...what a load of twoddle to suggest he get kicked out for it. Like its been said previously if one of the women had said it about the boys would you still suggest the same?? me thinks not

good job I have morales, that`s what I live by.

If a woman says she will hit someone 9 times out of 10 its her way of letting of steam and she won`t go through with it, unless in self defence.

If a man makes that statement they mean it when looking like Jason did.

I have brought my family up to have morales, I dont go around hitting people never have and never will.

I reckon if he was attacked by a woman, he has every right to defend himself. And say so, on national TV.

That's equality. In all it's glory.

i'm sorry but **** off.

I wouldn't hit a woman in 99% of circumstances, but if a woman punched me square on or was hitting me to the point of injury or in spite then i'd at least give her a back hand or grab hold of her to let her know she can't do that.

So when a woman in a rage is saying she will hit someone, she does not really look like she will??? and probably wont???? and did not really mean it???
Hmmmm...

But when a man looks angry it means he is going to hit someone????

Hmmmm

Makes loads of sense!

Where are the stats for this? You are implying with this statement that women are just full of C**P and to take what they say with a pinch of salt.

I don't think that you can generalise a statement like that or make it suit your beliefs about violence.

Like I have said before if someone is fond of hitting when frustrated or otherwise it makes no difference if they are male or female ..............they need help with anger, or a bit of education so they don't resort to this.

I am afraid you are spouting utter codswallop and I feel sorry for the people you have forced your narrow minded, naive, stone age views on. With what substance can you back up your statistics??
I am actaully laughing at your comments because the more I read them the more ridiculous they sound

Anyone is entitled to defend themself... therefore if someone hits Jason he should be entitled to hit them back. It sounds rather sexist to say if a woman beats up a man then he isn't allowed to fight back. She shouldn't hit him in the first place.

After reading this thread I made a point of watching BB last night. In all fairness, they all seem to have got very over heated. It was totally ridiculous. silly girls crying in the toilets, big scottish man flexing his pecks, ....................oh dear.

What if Jason hit Nadia? Jeez! that would be a daring man - Wouldn't like to start a fight with that thing.
As for your original question, It's not really right for any man to hit a woman as they are seen as the weaker ( physically ) sex traditionally. But saying and doing are 2 completely different things.

Mary, sorry, Jason, is a steroid fuelled testosterone filled imbecile who is clearly furious that he has been rumbled. Saying he would hit a woman back (in the circumstances in which he did so) was a blatant attempt at intimidation and trying to frighten people. - cos the poor little lamby realises he's been rumbled as a manipulative lying little toerag.

Look at him! The bloke is massive, and the people he was actually threatening are all but tiny! Whether it's a man or a woman he's threatening to hit, he's just using his large size to intimidate, he's a pathetic exemple of a human being.
