John retires this month from his post of PE teacher at Firth Park College.A local hero!

Today was a great summer's day spent in Don Valley Stadium watching the school's sports day.10am - 3pm.

The final speech was by Seb Coe reflecting upon watching an earlier Olympic final.

yes, i was at firth park 88-91 and had the pleasure of him, good bloke, even had him for a maths lesson, in which we got to look at the olympic medals, his bronze and his missus' silver
