View Full Version : Bored Girl?Re invent your wardrobe
http://www.ohmystars.net/craft/
This site shows you how to redesign your clothes and make them bigger and smaller in a really clear and funky way.
I like it
Some interesting ideas but to be fair a lot of it is common sense. I like to alter and customise clothing and have never been shown how its just a case of having some imagination for the most part. I will have a good look through some of the other links on there though too as i didnt even realise that people had sites about this sort of thing and there are a few useful tips which is good

Gotta agree. . I pimped our lasses jeans at the weekend, usin a pair of scissors, cheese grater, some paint a bottle of lucozade and a lil creativity. .
I was quite pleased with the outcome but our lass was over the moon wiv 'em.

i can see everything else but where does the bottle of lucozade come in? or do you jus mean you drank it while you was workin? - do you have a piccy?
I love customising jeans and skirts etc as its a great way to keep some individuality - i hate goin out and seeing people with the same clothes as me cos they happen to shop in same places
i was wondering bout lucozade as well
Also i thought i'de add that this site has inspired me to get all the dresses, that i like but never dare wear because i'm not a dress type girl, out of my wardrobe and cut them down to tops. Why i did not not think of doing it before is beyond me
Thought you might ponder that. . ;)
The lucozade lid under the jeans with a fine grater made a perfect ruffled circle and the bottom of the bottle under the jeans and grated evenly made perfect flower petals. Finally the edge of a trainer provided the straight edge for the stem.

or, jus get a couple of vodkas down ya before you go out (assuming you're over 18 of course..). once get over it first time and relax you're fine, - is it that you're worried they are a bit revealing or quite bold and may attract attention? i used to be nervous about wearing things out that might attract attention but now i'l wear whatever i want and dont care much for what other people think about it. You obviously considered wearing the dresses if you bought them in the first place....

If your gonna make an impression, make it a lasting one. . not necessarly retena burning but more "ohh. . that's different/don't see that every day"
I'm confident enough, I'm not a dressy type person, If i see a dress i like though i buy it. Any green dress usually gets my attention, then i never find an occasion that would be dressy enough for ME to wear it.
Got some nice green tops now though
