I know of the two reptile shops in Attercliffe, but I was wondering if there were any others?
Would be nice to go somewhere different for a change :)

Why not have a look on our site and see if anything catches your eye - we can hand deliver to your door. We are currently selling some Common Boas that are stunning - £80 www.Exotic-Pets.co.uk (http://www.exotic-pets.co.uk) Rachy 13-07-2006, 23:14 there was 1 near brammel lane dont know if it is still there though beansforyou 14-07-2006, 22:56 I think thats the one that has moved up to Attercliffe? The Snake Shop? I've heard nothing but good thingd about Snakes & Adders in Leeds, might have a ride up there and see what it's like. I have been asking all over to no avail for last 6 months. Have seen some WC but no CB :( Exotic_Pets 22-07-2006, 23:36 Hi, I'm afraid we have only seen WC Collard Lizards and not any CB ones yet. The WC ones are usually fine - just make sure you quarantine them and give them a dose of wormer to be on the safe side. We can currently get hold of the Eastern Collard Lizards (http://www.exotic-pets.co.uk/eastern-collared-lizard.html) if you are interested? Karen Meaks 23-07-2006, 00:53 One of the shops up Attercliffe has an alligator in a tank! suzyoo 23-07-2006, 11:25 It's not an Alligator it's a Camen, has he started work on the extension for it yet? DaFoot 23-07-2006, 20:52 I'm afraid we have only seen WC Collard Lizards and not any CB ones yet. Same story at most shops. I know the guy at the snake shop is having some limited success breeding them but it takes time! The WC ones are usually fine - just make sure you quarantine them and give them a dose of wormer to be on the safe side. I'm after CB not for health reasons but I would like to encourage captive breeding instead of constantly plundering wild reserves. Best way of encouraging that as I see it is to talk to shop owner/traders being specific. We can currently get hold of the Eastern Collard Lizards (http://www.exotic-pets.co.uk/eastern-collared-lizard.html) if you are interested? Karen They are the ones I want, if you ever get hold of CB animals or manage to start a breeding programme of your own gimme a shout (I realise CB will probably cost a bit more...) Thanks |
