Dear All

I have an Epson C42 UX. Over the last few days it has suddenly stopped working. Both the lights (green and red) on it flash alternately. I have tried turning it off, tried holding down the red light button for an extended period of time, but it doesn’t seem to be working.
I love my C42 UX. Any ideas for rejuvenating it welcome.

I have the same printer, and when the red light flashes its usually 1 of 2 problems :

1 Run out of paper (but I think you would have noticed this)
2 Its run out of ink

It's not run out of paper. Ink I don't know. (it's difficult to get the cartridge out since it just goes from one end to another on restarting)
Definitely no objects causing a jam.

best way to get the ink cartridges out is through :

Start --> Printer & Faxes (right click on the printer icon) Properties --> Printing Preferences --> Maintenance tab --> Ink Cartridge Replacement button
