I think there's two in Sheff. this week: Tuesday - Wheatsheaf pub Ecclesall road south/ Abbey Lane.
Wednesday - Rover group. Joseph Glover (The Mill ) Mosboro-Halfway.
Please check, I may have the days the wrong way round!

We would love you to come to our festival Aug 4th Saturday at Cookson Park on Wordsworth Ave, opp Forty Foot Pub. We would really love to have classic cars on show. Our festival we hope to raise funds for the Macmillan nurses. Cheers Janetb

Anyone fancy organising a Sheffield Classic Car stand for the Sheffield transport show?

I can't I am afraid too much on my hands at the moment.

Classic Ford Show at Santa Pod on the 9/10th June. We will be making the journey again in both the Sierra and the Fiesta.

There's a Classic Cars and Motorbikes Show at Renishaw Hall on Wednesday 20 June at about 6pm. All funds go to Weston Park Hospital. :)

Assuming it does rain all day, will the show at Graves Park be cancelled/postponed or will it go ahead as planned?

It says cloudy with a passing shower now. Doesn't sound too bad.

Looks like it will be a wash out for Graves Park im afraid. We wont be taking the Fiesta or the XR4 this year and we know of a lot of people who wont be taking their classic and vintage cars along this year. Could be a bit of a failure this year if too many turn away!

Such a shame the weather's so bad - I've really been looking forward to going but it's too much of a hike on public transport and looking a bit dodgy if all the car parking is on grass too. :(

We are thinking of going to this one as just up the road.

Hope Valley Lions have got a large show on the footy pitches in Hope (opposite the college) on 14th July 10 am - 3 pm. You can turn up on the day.

Hi you All out there. Yes like you we miss taking our car, went to one at Brodsworth Hall quite good really ( no rain).
We are still having our festival on Cookson Park Aug 4th 11am yto 4.30. Money raised for Macmillan nurses. Various stalls, cycle speedway match,( have a go are you fit) Skateboard Jam. Little fair food ice cream etc.
HOPE the weather holds you are all very welcome. You can be on hard standing if prefer but need to know in advance at least 3 days so no one parks on it.
It would be marvellous to have classic cars in our festival also very local.
Directions the park is situated on Wordsworth Ave opp 40 foot pub the entrance for yourselves would be on Halliwell Cres. Why not have a drive past and look at the site? Phylis will know where it is.
