I'm usually at the Monday, Thursday and Sunday sessions - hope to see you there and maybe we can partner up!! The main instructor is very knowledgeable about kickboxing circles so he'll probably be able to recommend somewhere in York where you can continue training. He posts on here under 'chefkicker'. AFK is a really good place to start as they go through everything very thoroughly. Chefkicker also offers private tuition, just give him a bell. :-)
hey cheers for that.. have got two more weeks at uni til am back in sheff for the hols! so on the 23rd/24th i will be starting then hopefully! or maybe before that posibly next sunday? Sounds good though. will give him a ring when i get chance! thanx

Hi Xfix
You will be more than welcome at AFK. It is as Catt said a welcoming club with very welcoming people. No ego heads , no idiots just a straight forward sociable and down to earth crowd.
We do welcome people who just want to train over the holidays who then move onto other places during term time and vice versa. We also have students who train with us during term time and who train elsewhere at home during the holidays.
With regards to private lessons , I do offer private and group lessons. It is possible for you to split the cost with somebody for a private lesson if you have somebody to partner with and perhaps cant afford the price for one yourself.
Im expecting your call soon

Yes I second that quote " they go through everything thoroughly" . Thats right we dont just take your money and then leave you to your own devices like some clubs do. Any mistakes are corrected on the spot. Some people dont like to be corrected if they are making a mistake and dont care wether or not they are being taught well but for those people there is always other clubs :P
See you next week Xfix. Thought id mention I have strong links with other University kickboxing clubs all over the country.
Great to see you today!! Remember Andy's sage words of advice about certain self defense moves. Lol. ;-D See you when i get back!!
