Tried to enter Barnsley Forum last night,but it is now closed. A thank you to all the members was displayed on the site. Shame, some genuinely nice people used to post on there.

I'm a Barnsely lass posting on here - didn't know there was a Barnsley forum or i'd have joined ages ago - yep hopefully people from barnsley will post on here - i miss my home town and all the lovely people in it so much.

Actually if anyone is from Barnsley come say hi - we might know each other.

I used to live in erm: Broadway, Gawber, Cawthorne, Darfield, Hemsworth, and Notton - not all at the same time.

Double barreled names wouldn't have gone down well in laik district.

The Rovvrem Forum (http://www.rovvrem.co.uk/) is struggling too, at the moment.

Also, I believe Ayup.co.uk (http://www.ayup.co.uk/index2.html), a Barnsley based site, is still active - and some very funny stuff on there too:thumbsup:

Hey Nimrod! I thought I might find someone from the Barnsley forum here! I think that was totally wrong of them to just close the forum without any warning what-so-ever. I emailed "the Ed" and he said he was given no warning either. They just took away his access and closed it down! Not very nice! :mad:
