can anyone advise on instllation of netgear wireless router (rangemax 240) ?

the cd is supposed to be straightforward but clearly i'm missing something!

I've got a netgear D834G at home so I'm wondering if they are similar

Are you just setting it up for use on one pc?
If so- look on the back of the router... does it have a couple of ports?
One should be power- the others should be LAN ports... do you have a cable to connect it to your PC and does your PC have the same port?
