Hiya everyone

I am a yearly visitor to Manchester Pride cause its a great weekend out, but I just wondered if anyone had heard if Sheffield are doing a Pride event this summer.

My friend said that there was going to be one and I wondered if it was true or not and when it is.

I must admit that I will still be going to Manchester Pride cause its brilliant, I love the atmosphere and the parade and the fact its dead safe, but it would be great if sheffield tried to do something.

Any help guys??

It would be good for Sheffield to show some support and get involved, Most other big cities do something but Sheffield does nothing! Im all for it!

I'd be very surprised if they did have one in Sheffield. I would have thought they'd had mentioned it in the Shout Mag if there was one although I've not seen 'Shout' for ages ? Perhaps you might be thinking of the all day event organised by Climax ? I've heard they're doing something from lunchtime till about 2am sometime in the future on Saturday ?

When's the Manchester one ? Are they going to shut the area off and is it tickets only ?

Oh well never mind it would have been good though, looks like I will just have to have it large in Manchester!

By the way Trouncer the Manchester one is August bank holiday, and yes its ticketed I suppose it will be all fenced off again like last year, which was good actually cause it was keeping the riff raff out and it was a really cool atmosphere can't wait!
