I saw a banner on the side of Weston Park (near the museum) saying Loxley Brass Band playing there this weekend - I couldnt read if it said 8th or 9th and couldnt see a time either. Does anyone walk passed here and know the details? Its a small banner to read when your driving and no-where safe to pull up there!

It's the 9th from 2pm until 4pm. I think they were meant to be there last Sunday but the date has been changed.

I had all of the dates written down for the different bands but have managed to miss every one of them - really should try to be more organised!

Jut found out tomorrow is the last event - so I have missed them all too - there is the Stannington Brass Band at Stannington Gala today though if I get my skates on!
