I see that two teenagers from Lowedges have been found guilty after hitting a thug with and air gun pellet.
It seems that the offenders were shot at with a starting gun and chased through the streets by a howling mob of yobs, until they locked themselves into their flat. With the howling mob outside they shot back (yob got hit in forehead) The mob broke into the flat and trashed it.
Threats have been made to the lad who shot the yob and he's had to move to Stocksbridge for his own safety. The police have successfully had this lad prosecuted for a firearms offence.
No yob was charged for firearms offences, breaking and entering, threatening behaviour, criminal damage ete etc. seeing how the yobs must have complained and therefore identified themselves, why weren't they charged with any offence?
Riot would have done nicely.
There'll be no stopping this scum and there parents from bringing terror to who ever they want now will there?

Does that mean if you vote tory people will be allowed to take the law into their own hands and shoot other people?:loopy:

I'd guess the reason the prosecution was against one and not the other was lack of evidence and witnesses.

What are any of these people doing with guns in the first place?

I've no problems at all with this pair being prosecuted. It's the fact that the yobs that started it all, seem to have committed a whole string of serious offences and have got away with it.
I just hope no pensioner is daft enough to whack one on the head as they innocently go about clambering through their bedroom window!
