Does anyone know one .
If so let me know any web sites and numbers
Thanks
Sara
I don't think there's much between them, but I've used Sheffield Recycling Services (were part of Coe-Crete). They're fairly punctual on delivery of the skip and cost around £100+vat for a 8 ton skip. Price maybe skightly out of date though!
PeterPiper 05-07-2006, 21:51 Arthurs skips
tel: 2762425
good prices too!
TheRedWizard 05-07-2006, 22:44 Arthur seems to own every bloody skip I've seen in Sheffield!

used them a few times, they arrive very early too, so make sure you have a free space for it...

Any idea on the price for a small skip ?
PeterPiper 05-07-2006, 23:18 Any idea on the price for a small skip ?
about £30 to £40, to be honest i would give them a call.
go bigger if you can afford it, those small skips are small, you'll fill it in no time and then you might need another one....
Dj_Shadowman 05-07-2006, 23:30 Thanks for that, its just for an old concrete path I found when digging the garden over ready for turfing.
Could make a couple of trips to the tip in the minibus, but im too idle :hihi:

Don_Kiddick 06-07-2006, 01:23 Look out for a Skoda with an open sun roof, pretty much the same thing
 hope this helps?

Just to clarify your point PP, they arrive very early the first few times, then when you've got used to it and you get everything ready for 7am, they keep you waiting till dinner time!
I'd still recommend Arthur's though

hannahdlz 06-07-2006, 10:45 That's funny - I was running this morning and there were so many skips out that I decided to try and learn the numbers to take my mind off the pain in my legs! 4 hours later and the only one I can remember is 2442489 (think it was Bradwells or something...definitely began with a 'B'!) No idea whether they're any good/cheap but at least it gives me an outlet for a piece of otherwise useless information!!! :hihi:
I Use M And M Skip Hire In Attercliffe
They Are Not The Cheepest But They Are The Most Profesionall
Skip Hire Company By Far. Do You Stop To Think Where Your Waste Is Ending Up When You Pay 10pence For A Builders Skip? And The Truck Turns Up Looking Like A Complete Shed, No Name Or Number On The Side?
Alarms Started Ringing For Us When We Used A Skip Hire Company In Attercliffe They Turned Up Late, The Driver Was Dirtier Than The Rubbish We Put In The Skip, He Looked Like Stig Of The Dump.
The Truck Had No Name No Opperaters Licence, No Tax, Ding Ding Ding Hello Whats This, Fly Tipping Is A Big Problem That We All Must Takle. To Help This Ask To See There Waste Carriers Licence / And There Environmentle Policy. Also Visit There Premises To See What Happens To Your Waste, And That It Hasent Just Landed On Mrs Johnson At No 33 Garden Whilst She Was Out Shopping.;)
So Enough Moning, We Did All These Things With M And M And Found Them To Be So Good We Went Into Partnersip With Them For Our Skips. Hope You Thing First, Cheeper Not Always Best????.
