can any one tell me why busses stop near the top of granville rd but there is no bus stop built...did there used to be one there or is it just for people in the know,every bus stops there if you press the bell,
its on the corner of ingram rd.:)

is it one of those where u can stop anywhere within reason like the 43 route?
Might be a request stop then, though they're usually on the quiet routes such as the old 60A that went round Endcliffe Cresecent for the students.

Weird, but I've always wondered the same thing!
If you look across the road there is a bus stop for going down, it will probably say both ways meaning the buses will stop at the same place across the road, this usually occurs when they do not have permission to erect a bus stop or on a safety matter.
Playman is right.
Look on the other side of the road.

You will find that the bus stop flag has writting on it that says both directions, this means that you can stand on the opposite side of the road and catch the bus, it's been a both directions stop for years.
