Hi. Im a Sheffield Expat........left stocksbridge in 1996 and never been back since!!
Was planning on bringing Hubby to be to sheffield for a weekend in July to show him where i grew up went to school etc ( lol well im trying to be romantic he will probably be bored rigid!)

Need some suggestions as where to stay and where to go that will show him the good side of sheffield. I think its changed a bit since i lived there ( well i would hope so anyway in 8 years) so have no idea about hotels and nice places to eat.
We will be flying into Sheffield City Airport as i am a pilot so wouldnt mind a base nearish to there if thats possible
