does anyone know of anywhere in the city centre/West St/Devonshire Green region that does contract car parking?

Hi,

with contract parking you pay per month or 3 months and get a permit to park. it tends to work out cheaper than using the pay and display every day.

The cheapest is in the car park of what used to be the Mercedes dealers.

There is one next to the Scout shop on Trippet Lane (go in Scout shop for details i believe) and there is one on Rockingham Street right at the end of Trippet Lane (there is a number on a board put up there).
Not sure of price or availability though im afraid.

Have a look for nearby shops, and businesses with carparks and/or yards.

If you approach them and offer money for x months they might let you park there, thats what a friend of mine does.

Theres one at the back off the Salvation Army

yeah as Ollie said the Scout (SGS) shop next to the Dog & Partridge on Trippet Lane (round back of West St) do parking for about £15 a month I think. It could be more, but I am led to believe it is around this figure, and it has a gate entry.
