View Full Version : Drunks in the square at woodhouse
i was walking up towards beighton road the other day and there was about 5 of them sat with their white lightning on the benches near to the george pub, they were not causin no bother and were quietly talkin amongst them selves, but when i walked back down about an hour later with my kids there was only one of them left he was walking about looking really menacingly at us and other people walking past , shouting and staggering about. i had to udge the kids right upto the shutters of the closed down shops to walk past.
i dont think this is very nice, and its not the first time they have been there either.
i have nothing against people sitting and supping outside at all and wouldnt dream of wanting to have them moved BUT when they are looking aggressive and ive got my kids am in my right to call the police to move them, will the police even move them?
Dj_Shadowman 29-06-2006, 10:22 You have the right to call the plod, if they do anything about it is a different matter.
They wont take the little scrotes to task so why would they want to take on drunk adults ?
I think I have seen the group you mentioned a few times.
Only seem to want to harrass women & kids though.
we get alot walkin past the shop but i havent ever had no bother now its put me on edge abit about shane leaving me in the shop on my own.
upto press the most weve had in are drugged up ones, that smell evil one even had snot and boggies alover his hand eeeeewwwww.
when i walk up later today if they are still there and being menacing ill give the police a call just to see what they will do, fair enough me and the kids might be able to run out of the way but what about the old folks that walk past too they might not be able to move quickly enough
Most of them are from that resettlement home on Beighton Road, If they are druggies then they would (or should) get kicked out of that place as they have a no drug policy. Have a word with the staff at St Annes resettlement home, or contact the community officer for Woodhouse at Moss Way Police Station, but as someone quite rightly said what they do (if anything is another matter)
i cant see the point in putting them in that home just to let them wonder the streets getting drunk are they supposed to be reabilitating them there? or is it just like a hostel. on 2 occasions weve even seen them dealing drugs from a car outside the tackle shop, theres a little old lady that tried to get a petition together to stop us opening our shop and we are only a tattooist so im sure if she sees them doing that they are in for it :hihi:
Dj_Shadowman 29-06-2006, 16:18 Bet they are dealing to the old folks in the home across the street.
Better not let our lass see this :hihi:

heehee if they get busted i wonder how many millions of pounds worth of laxatives and sterident they find :hihi:
Hasn't the market square got CCTV now?
If they are making a nusiance of themselves, give the police a buzz Litha.
They seem to take more interest in known crims - and if the constantly changing faces are anything to go by, these guys are St Annes reisdents ;)
Leave me alone, I have to go drink somewhere. :(
