anybody see this on channel 5 last night?? i think that's what it was called but NOT the CSI drama series
a documentary following forensic officers to death scenes, whether that be a murder , suicide or accident scene
it was truly mordid but compulsive viewing
some of the things these people see are truly hideous
one that spring to mind is the guy who died in his rat infested trashed home and had been dead for a few weeks. By the time the investigator had got there his body was rubbery and had expanded (due to body gas) and he was about to explode!
or the victims of car accidents where the body was unrecognisable and the suicide scenes where they had shot themselves in the head and the investigator had to try to hold what was left of their face together in order to take a picture for idenitifcation purposes
just to add that it is set in america
my reaction was should they really be showing these truly horrific scenes just to cater for morbid fascination because i guess that's what it boils down to - these people have(d) families
