Could anyone tell me of a good campsite along the Sheffield - Manchester train route (so Edale, Hope, Hathersage, etc) that wouldn't mind a large(ish) group of *sensible* teenagers?

Probably depends on what you mean by 'large; and 'sensible'. I know some sites have policys against large groups especially if they are all the same sex. Anyway, try this site to find what you are looking for hen ring them up and ask them! : http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/ HTH Nomme Jayne 09-06-2004, 09:13 you could try fieldhead in edale, or north lees near stanage (about 20mins walk from hathersage) Jim 09-06-2004, 11:47 Greenacres just before the turning for Edale (or after if you're coming from Mam Tor) is a reasonable, basic campsite. Also has a separate field so I'm sure an amount of distance could be built in from other campers. £6 per tent per night. noseyrosie 09-06-2004, 19:26 Originally posted by nomme Hmm.
