Am looking to book some where for my wedding doo.
We are gettin married june nxt yr.
And want some where cheap but nice looking for our evening doo.
Most we could afford is 200 at a push.
We looked at a few places including social clubs and they are right price but look awful.
Any ideas on places would be nice.
preferbly in city centre or s5 area surrounding or hillsborough.

I have no idea of the price, as my parents paid for the room hire, but have you tried the ski village? We had our wedding reception there and they were really good.

Agree with the pheasant. Been to a couple of do`s there and they`ve always been nice and the beers cheap enough unlike others i`ve been to where they just want to rip you off. Another nice place although not exactly the area you wanted is pickwicks at high green. My daughter had her reception there this year and it was lovely. It`s on the 76 bus route.

Whatever you do, dont go to Aston Hall! the service was rubbish, the staff rather dim! And...It was expensive.

Companions Club is a nice size private room, car park across the road.

Very Cheap to hire for a party and quite well known. I live Wincobank and my family live parson cross and it is very near to everyone. I've been to a lot of party's their, 18th, 21st, engagement, wedding, and a christening. They get booked up quick for saturday nights cause we tried to get my brothers 21st their. They do have a leaflet with prices for buffets too.

Think room is £50 but not 100% certain. I will try and get number for you if you want.

the garrison hotel does it beautifully . my antie had hers there it was an awsome day n the building is absoulty amazing!! the staff treat u exelent i wud recomend it there

Whirlow Hall is very nice if you get it on a day with good weather.
