A new DAB radio station Yorkshire Radio is doing test transmissions from today 26th June with full service starting on 10th July 2006.It will cover Yorkshire sport and play music from the last 5 decades.

I love DAB and have it at work, in the lounge and in the bedroom (DAB that is!).

One question. How come small DAB radios get good reception via their internal antenna yet for my decent stereo DAB in the lounge it needs be connected to a proper external aerial for best reception.

Any ideas?
