I was just wondering if anyone reading has ever attended one of the CIQ's First Thursday events? Even if you don't know about First Thursday then please reply with any views/feedback about the CIQ in general. I attended the first few (2-3) events that they held. We theWorkshop (www.theworkshop.co.uk) were based in the CIQ at that time (and had been tenents at The Workstation before that).

The events can be very usefull if there is a guest speaker relevant to you, but I am not sure how useful you will find the networking afterwards as people tended to just group together with people they know, so unless you are wanting to approach someone specfically, it may not prove much use.

As with anything, I suppose you get out what you put in, but generally I enjojed beeing in the CIQ and got to know a lot of interesting people.
