does anyone remember on the letters page of the sheffield star the letters titled...why do we have to wait in vain on list??

i am just going to remind you if you cant quite remember....
the original letter was on viewpoint about louisa who lived with her 5 year old on the 11th floor of the high rise flats in netherthorpe and being unable to get rehoused

the replies on the letters page were 2 stories showing other families having the same problems
one story was about a family in a 2 bedroomed maisonette trying to get rehoused with the council and it falling on deaf ears despite them being a family of 4 and the little girl having disability issues and even with medical letters they failed to get rehoused
when the family were told they were priority they were only able to choose certain areas despite it being called choice based letting plus when they were actually offerred somewhere it was an upper ground flat which was totally unacceptable as the children have breathing issues....because they refused the unsuitable upperground they were therefore taken off the priority!

does anyone remember or have any comments or can you offer help?
