IIRC it's not quite THAT old, it was in the charts within probably last 10-11 years I think.

Rich, you're right - mid 1990s. I now why I associated it with my parents, as well. I spent some time nursing my mother and she was a bit Wogan fan, so it woudl have been on when I was with her. :)

I've never met anyone who knew the song before! Most people look at me blankly if I mention it.

Another useless piece of information about this song is that it was written about Sarah Jessica Parker - an ex girlfriend of Joshua Kaddisons. I always wanted a cat I could call Moses. Great song - I remember buying the single on holiday in minehead - must have been 1996.
