Futurama should not have been cancelled in the first place.

I have to say that I greatly enjoyed Futurama. Definitely on my list of boxed sets of DVDs to buy!

There were some lovely bits in the show - the spoof of 'Married with Children' involving Leela and her 'Cyclops' husband, the recurring return of the head of Richard Nixon, 'Robot Hell', the Slurm factory...all great stuff. :)

And at the end, Fry and Leela finally got together, which appealed to me 'cos I'm a big softy at heart!

The slurm factory with slurms mckenzie- now that was a great episode.
With fry trying to eat his own arms off trying to get to the super slurm.

Robot Hell- with the musical introduction to hell from the robot devil.

Absolutely classic animated moments for me!

This is great news, I read a while ago that Billy West (Fry) said they were doing some new episodes but this confirms it. Hang on, I'm sure I can find the link (A few minutes Googling later...)

http://www.billywest.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2011&PN=1

Let us not forget the comedy genius of Dr. Zoidberg, especially when Professer Farnsworth announces prior to an experiment:
"We're going to need a guinea pig..."
[Cut to a guinea pig in the middle of an empty room. Enter Zoidberg.]
"Hello, what's this? A free meal?"
[Wolfs down guinea pig. Trap activates and Zoidberg is caught in a net. Enter rest of crew.]
"Friends, help! I've been tricked by a guinea pig."

Now THAT'S funny, and I make no apologies for clearly being an anorak!

Zoidberg is clearly a comedy genius:hihi:

This is my favourite quote:

Dr. Zoidberg: Stop! Stop! If you interrupt the mating dance the male will become enraged and maul us with his fearsome gonad!

(I make no apologies for being an anorak AND having a schoolboy's sense of humour!:hihi: )

Oh i really hope that they start Futurama again! I loved it because it was so out there and wickedly funny!!! I can't live on repeats I'm afraid! I need bender and co back!!! BRING BACK BENDER!!!!!

Edit- I loved the robot hell song Angelus! That song made me laugh soo much!!!

Leela- 'Come on fry, now don't be scared, I'm sure at least one of us will be spared. Sit back and lets enjoy the ride'
Fry- 'my ass has blisters from the slide!'

Genius:hihi:

I know its a long wait, but I'm exicted! To quote Bender-
'I'm so excited, I wish I could wet my pants!':hihi:

Heres some classic lines from one of the best animated series around.....

Bender- "Do I preach to you while you're lying stoned in the gutter? No."

Fry: That's the saltiest thing I ever tasted, and I once ate a big heaping bowl of salt

Fry: This is like that drug trip I saw in a movie...when I was on a drug trip.

Gay Hippie: They called me crazy for building this ark.
Old Hippie: You ARE crazy. You filled it with same sex animal couples.
Gay Hippie: Hey, there are parts of the bible I like and parts I don't like.

Leela (who's about to be sacrificed): I'm a virgin.
Mutant: Nice try, Leela, but we've all seen Zapp Branagin's web page.

Professor Farnsworth: ' That's rich coming from 'I'm my own grandfather!'

:hihi: Every line a classic!!!!! Just reading them makes me laugh!!

I went home and watched some Futurama last night to celebrate.
One of Fry's best lines is when Bender shoots him in the privates with the x-ray gun:
"Ow, my sperm".
Then when Bender does it again:
"Hmm, it didn't hurt that time..."

I'm with Craig7777 on Roswell That Ends Well being the best episode. Although the first one is a classic.

Zap has some great lines!

Leila "Y'know Zap, someone ought to teach you a lesson."
Zap "If it's a lesson in love, I suffer from a very sexy learning disorder. What do I call it Kif?"
Kif "[Groan] Sexlexia."

I love the episode when they rip a hole in space time and the harlem globtrotters help to solve the problem.. it's the line as they set off in the ship that cracks me when the proffesor says: off you go.. apparently.. bit crappy I know but it really tickles me :hihi:
Cant belive no one mentioned King of the hill, Hank Hill rocks!!
