I guess the closest UK equivalent would be Sir Lew Grade. These were guys that had their fingers on the pulse of what the viewers wanted to a much greater degree than today's companies.

I wasn't exactly a fan of much of AS's stuff, but his programming entertained millions, which I guess is what you're shooting for as a TV Producer!

I think is best production was Starsky and Hutch in the 70s.Bit dated obviously but at the time pretty cool.It showed spellings house on the news last night and to be honest it looked like Meadow hall.:thumbsup:

Well he will be missed, he made 2 of my fav tv programmes........... Dynasty and Charlies Angel, I always wanted to be a Angel.........

I have hidden behind a paperclip before, that was the time I did 14 handstands from the Dev cat to Fuel, and jumped over 3 cars, 2 trucks, 6 buses, all sideways and shot 20 types with my staplegun :thumbsup:

Those were the days ........ aaaah
