Oh yes! I love that stuff - I was literally crying with laughter the other day watching Vince prance around in his glam-rock snowsuit! Apparently they've been at it for years and I can't believe I've only just found out about it!

People - if you have access to BBC3, you must watch. Next episode is Tuesday at 10.30pm.

I've only seen one episode and that was them going into the jungle room to find a guy with a huge head made of cheese?!

Very strange, very funny in places I thought.

Mostly strange though! lol

Keep an eye out for the "Arctic Tundra" episode then - it's the funniest so far. And don't forget to tune in tonight at 1.30pm on BBC 3!

This was on Channel 4 (was it?) last night - I really really enjoyed it - I was a bit drunk but it was really funny!!

(I woke up this morning with a door drawn on my forehead :suspect: )

Last night they were wandering in the desert looking for the 'new sound', really funny stuff. Utterly random.

My favourite episode is the one where Howard meets the spirit of jazz and sells his soul to become the best jazz musician in Yorkshire!
"Yorkshire is a place, Yorkshire is a state of mind" Great stuff!

Tony

That one is REALLY funny on the radio series. :D

The Dolphin race .... I mean Porpoise :hihi:
"This is the Spirit of Jazz... You're drowning Howard"

Very, very funny! I prefer the first series... The zoo was a great setting for such a mad comedy... The first time I watched it was the other year, we taped it accidently and sat watching it around three in the morning after a night of drinking and other vices... :o ahem!

My mind was hurting afterwards; although it's just as funny when your completely sober!! Wish I had tickets for city hall :(

I liked the first series, but have been largely unimpressed by series two so far. Too. Many. Songs. I miss the zoo. Gorilla.

The live show *is* amazing - I'm off to my second one next week.

You do realise that you've opened up a massive can of worms now? You'll never shut me up! In fact, that reminds me... Agent Gypo, I'd like to commission a Boosh-themed piece from you when my sister's is done - I'll be in touch soon.

Mighty Boosh is the best bit of comedy to come out for a while. It dosnt appeal to everyone but i for one think its great. I remember how freaked out i was when i 1st saw the pilot episode on BBC 3 ages ago but i still got hooked on it. Also if your keen on the mighty boosh i recommend snuff box on BBC3.
Some decent clips of it here on the BBC Website

I love Snuff Box too - Rich Fulcher is fast becoming one of my favourite comedians. Only problem with that show though is getting the theme tune out of your head... not easy!

I used to listen to it on Radio 2 - yonks back! Only got 5 TV channels so not seen the TV program! Has anyone sampled both! Which is best?

angel_b
12-04-2006, 12:59
Both are excellent but the TV show is great because of the visual element - it's amazing and I would recommend you got yourself the DVDs.

And, on a related note, Mighty Boosh LIVE TONIGHT at City Hall! Anyone else going? I think I'm actually going to wet my trousers with excitement...

The Mighty Boosh is an acquired taste, a bit like Marmite!

Just got back - what an amazing night! My seats were probably the best in the house (licking distance of Noel, if you're interested!) and Robots in Disguise at the afterparty were pretty damn good too!

My only gripe was that the boys didn't come out of the stage door after the show to sign for fans. However, I can't fault them for that. They must be absolutely knackered after doing a show for practically every night since before Xmas, and they had the Kaiser Chiefs partying backstage with them. Not really much of choice is it?

Top night anyway!

I was there last night - absolutely brilliant gig. Didn't stop laughing for over two hours. Only problem was the very short interval which was just long enought to fight your way to the front of the bar and get served but no time for the drink!

angel_b
13-04-2006, 14:26
I didn't even bother with a drink - it took the whole interval just to get to the loo and back!

Oh my god how good is the boosh!? And how fit is Vince Noir?! went to both shows. Absolutely amazing!!! Me and my sister even met vince and had a pic taken with him outside the city hall!! Imagine that!:)
