Help I am getting a popup from findpoker.com evertime I launch firefox, can't track down where it is coming from. Am scanning as I type!

I put the google toolbar on to "fix" a problem this morning (search bar was not working) but I don't think this could cause this (or could it)

You shouldn't need google toolbar for anything. There are odd popups that can get past Firefoxs popup blocker. Go and install the ******* extension amd just block anything from findpoker.com :)

If it's coming up everytime you launch Firefox then it sounds like something you've installed. Do a spyware and virus scan as well just to be sure.

Did a full un/re-install - fixed. Installed google toolbar to fix a long standing problem with the search toolbar not working.

Still no idea where this popup came from - clear on adaware, spybot, defender and two AV proggies. Checked for root kits - everything clean - no strange processes either, so i uninstalled and searched for everything with "firefox" in the name and deleted (disk and registry) seems OK now - just rebuilding my pages!

Firefox now logs onto sheff forum automatically - which it never did before, so I must have been suffering from lots of glitches!!!!

Can I ask please which AV programs you used?
Out of interest like.

Thankyou please.
