I have woke up this morning and my dog is making grumbling sounds like we would if we had trapped wind, they are really loud too. She is really lathargic and just keeps looking at me. She is also in season, does anyone know whats wrong.

Id run her down to the vets just to be on the safe side.
My dogs tummy makes grumbling sounds quite often... but then again he breaks wind quite often too :)

Shut it and pull my finger :hihi:
If you think your dog is poorly then it's your responsility as an owner to take him/her to the vets - not to come into an internet forum and ask a bunch of strangers who haven't even seen the dog to diagnose the problem.
With stomach problems it tends to either absolutely nothing to worry about like trapped wind, or something very serious like a lethal blockage, so go the the vet to be on the safeside.

I told you before - I can't stand another 68 of those :gag:
people often need advice before taking to the vet!!! so don't have a go.
Yes i think your dog maybe under the weather, sometimes dogs eat things like peices of bone or whatever they can find and get an upset tummy from that but i always say if it lasts more than half a day then go to the vets. I have been keeping dogs for 42 years and have had a sheltie live to be 19 years old, not that makes me qualified
I hope she comes round soon :)
It's also worth adding that if you suspect a stomach upset the first thing that you should do is to have 24 hours of starving the dog to allow their system to clear whatever's going on- continue to offer water though.
