Has anyone heard of Von Dutch Trucker hats?
Where are they sold in Sheffield and what do they usually retail at?

Cheers in advance.

To say all Von Dutch pieces are supposed to be made in limited numbers there seems to be a lot of people wearing it.

They were selling them in Thailand for about £3. Loads and loads of them, plus T shirts, bags, socks, you name it.....!

I was referring to Originals as opposed to fakes Buffy.
You can get fakes all over the place for next to nothing, but I'm on about good quality originals

I heard something about Von Dutch being a neo-nazi.. anyone shed any light on this?

I certainly wouldnt wanna walk around displaying some sort of neo-nazi imagery.
edit:

after some looking I found this.. http://www.ocweekly.com/ink/04/18/cover-douglas.php

My boyfriend has one, he was going to get one off ebay, however he luckily found one in the forum for £16.99!!! Bargin! It was one that they had been sent as a sample and noone had bought it (maybe they didn't know they would be trendy) so he snapped it up. He asked whether they would be ordering more and they said no. We had previously looked in lots of places in Sheffield and no where stocked them, but you can now buy them in USC in Meadowhall for ~£60! Rip off! They also sell Von dutch clothes.

Ahh... these are the caps I keep seeing. If anyone gets one, remember you can't wear it straight, sideways or backwards - it's got to be at an angle... slightly off centre ;)

I hear what you're saying, but I have to say that I was exceedingly impressed with the quality of South East Asia copies this year. The sweat shops of Thailand have evidently been taking pride in their work. No dangly threads, perfect logos, even top quality material. I'd have worn one with pride safe in the knowledge that it wouldn't fall apart and it wouldn't have faded in the wash.....but then again, I'm not a chav.

I know its slightly off topic but why the hell would anyone want to spend 40-60 quid on a baseball cap of all things (so called cos they cap your IQ to that of a baseball) and end up looking like every other chav / townie / person with no originality????

Id like to know where these sorts of labels come from!

It happened a while ago with Evisu - all of a sudden everybody was spending fortunes on this stuff for some reason. Its like everyone has a rush to buy loads of the stuff for a few months then it all dies off as quickly as it arrived.

I remember everybody going for Kappa sportswear when I was at school. Who wears any of that now? I never see any of it anymore. Yet it was vital that everybody had the sports jacket with the huge kappa logo on it. Wierd.

I only cottoned on ('scuse the pun) to Von Dutch about a week ago, and it reminded me of the Evisu rush. What's the attraction of a particular brand all of a sudden? How does this sort of thing start?

Have to say, my bloke has been wearing one for ages, and I'm not sure why people are only just cottoning on now. He'll prob stop wearing it when everyone else gets one!! I've no idea how he got into them.
To be honest, I don't see the attraction of them. The Von Dutch cap is actually really cheap quality and it's an original. He had to fix it after he bought it because the stitching was coming undone. You'd be better off buying an original Von Dutch patch for £5 and sewing it onto a baseball cap of better quality. The only reason they are so expensive now is because of demand. They were never made to be good quality and were once upon a time, cheap. After all truckers wore them.. It's another example of people being ripped off purely for a label.
