Please could anyone help I had a problem with a network printer, a Lexmark 1180, I have gone to system drivers and removed the drivers from there ,but in order to uninstall from the whole network I would need to open printers window ,then File/Server Properties/Drivers and remove the drivers from there. But this is where the problem is, I get the message that i cannot uninstall because the printer is in use.

I have deleted the printer spool and turned the printer off but still i keep getting this message.

Please any help .:help:

restart in safe mode and uninstall it from there

open the services of the pc controlling the printer /print server.

start -> run -> type "services.msc"

scroll down to print spooler and stop the service. see if you can uninstall it now
