Can anyone recommend anywhere you can get a good steak in South Sheffield (S20). Very disappointed with one's I've had already, especially the Sitwell!!

You surprise me John, I've never had a bad meal at the Sitwell...

Could have been a bad day H.O.D, We went because I was recommended by a friend. I asked for medium, my son and wife asked for rare, everything was burnt to a crisp. Wife reckons the Mossbrook is a lot better than it used to be though. One to keep away from ... The Fox at Beighton!!

The Roayal Oak in Mosborough is supposed to be OK

I went to the Sitwell on a recommendation and worst steak I've ever had. Was mostly gristle.

Damon's Restaurant over the road from Crystal Peaks does fantastic steak. It's a bit pricey though, but well worth it. The Fillet Mignon with peppercorn sauce is highly recommended.
