Believe it or not, I have been to quite a load of places and no-where is even a touch on them :-)

You ought to take a look in the kitchens..

I went there the other week and its gone downhill since i was working in a capacity there, which really is saying something.

Yeah, nowhere near as nice as it used to be...

I must admit, it is not a touch on what it used to be, they are cutting too many costs and charging more!!! Service is a big down side now also... Has anyone else tried the Lincoln one (The original Damons)... That is still very nice.

How to make Damons Onion Loaf ... Take 120 litres of loft insulation, two onions, mix together and bake at a moderate heat for 4hrs

I was upset to see that in the space of two years the menu had halved, service deteriorated and prices gone up 30%.

that said though, i did leave there full. The burger i had was massive, if a little bland!

The onion loaf is really just a load of shoe-string onions stuffed into a basket depending on size and fried for 5 minutes. Once you take it out of the basket it keeps its shape and it ready to eat.

Try Boardwalk at Valley Centertainment. In my opinion they're pretty close in quality........for ribs anyway. :)

plenty for 2 people, its gorgeous.
Its sliced onions dipped in seasoned flour, then fried up and crammed into a loaf tin!!!:love::love:

Ribs are usually a good one,and steak (but I do love my red meat:D)
last time we went the kids had burgers and they were nice as well.

had a really nice meal,had the onion loaf to share to start,and rump steak and all the trimmings for main course,didnt have room for afters,got my free birthday cake which i took home with me,lol
