As I was passing Pondsforge this morning (8:20) and I thought I saw an Owl sat above the entrance on that steel semi circle structure. I'm sure it was an Owl, but not sure if it was some sort of model or whatever. If anyone is in that area I would be grateful if you could have a look.

For the last few months there have been a few model owls on the semi circle outside the entrance. I've no idea why they are there, but I have wondered myself! :confused:

They might be there to deter other birds.

They are there to deter the pigeons that often find their way into the building....seems to be working too!

There was a pidgeon in there last thursday. It was purched on the shelf above where they keep the hot food warm in the cafe and staff were shooing it away. (Im not eating there!) They said they often have probs with pidgeons

Also saw two in Hillsborough Leisure centre where the swimming pool bit is.

Maybe they like hanging out at leisure centres?
