Been looking into this ? Anyone got any feedback ? Any cheaper options in town ? Or Eccy road area ? How much roughly do bills come to each month ?
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated as I'm starting to worry about where to live ;)

I know someone who lives in one and visit a few times a month.......I personally think it is very noisy, you can hear everything all around you in other rooms/flats.......but then, I am used to tranquillity living out in the suburbs.....
I also thought they were a bit cramped...but then again, thats just me liking lots of space..
I am sure you could go and have a look round though....
Aren't these just bedsits, or am I missing something?
No, they're new, they're funky, they're Uqubes!
(Note the quirky use of the letter Q instead of C; proof, if prrof were needed that these are super-cool!)

Last August I was looking for a city centre flat and I checked out one of these. The woman in the lettings office at West One told me it would be £375pcm, but when I got there she told me it would actually be £475pcm, as she was showing me a different uQube. I knew right then that I didn't want it, but I still took the tour for curiosity's sake.
Even for £375pcm it wasn't worth the money. They're small and you only get two hobs on the oven. I share a two-bedroom city centre flat with another guy and we pay £325pcm each. I've got a decent sized room, a good lounge, a kitchen that's big enough, a balcony and my own bathroom. If you shop around for city centre flats you can get far better value than the West One uQubes.

I'm living in one at the moment it's great. They are ideal for a young single person, its got fridge freezer and all the other stuff you will need. They arent big but they are easy to keep clean I havent heard anything from the other flats and I can sit on my balcony in he sun and chill. These are ideal for students they are much better than the halls of residence on offer from either of the Universities if you want anymore info just pm me.
Hi, would be grateful if anyone could give me any info on west one accomodation because I'm looking to move there for my final year next year as a student. How much are they? Are bills included in price? Are they as good as they look from the outside? Any problems with them?
Would PM you but I have to have 10 posts!
Thanks,
Richard
