Trying to think of a good place to head to on saturday night for my (early twenties!) birthday...

Wheres some place nice to go thats open later than 1am and doesnt charge a fortune to get in?

you had to apply for them, and from what i hear, there is only around 150 places now who regulary stay open after 2......

The Harley is open until 4am, I think DQ's is open until stupid O'Clock as well but they have a tendancy to charge whatever they fancy at the door, plus it's in a right skanky part of town (shame really).

Doesn't Takapuna open until 2am?

Crystal is a good option for any Saturday night. Open until 1.30 AM, and a decent crowd of people in. Nice place to go for a birthday because it's not too busy and not too loud! There is also a sizeable beer garden outside with heat lamps! Definately doesn't charge a fortune to get in (Free B4 11) and still leaves you with the option of going DQ's or Harley after :)

Drinks are pretty much the same as any decent bar on a Saturday night :D Honest! And probably cheaper than the whole of Sheffield on some weeknights. (£1.50 a Double Vodka and Mixer, £1.70 Fosters, Bottles of really high quality white/red wine £7.00, £3.00 Fresh cocktails) And why would you want Stella when you've got San Miguel and 1664 Blanc :hihi:

It's a complete and unfounded myth that Crystal costs an arm and a leg! It just looks like it should from the gorgeous bar ;)

stardust bar is open late i think. best thing is just to sign up for memebership to all the clubs and then you get offers for free entry and drinks etc and more on birthdays.

We're open till at least two every night except Sundays..

We only charge on the door when there is a band or DJ playing, all money goes to promoters to pay acts and most nights it's free entry, except:
Fridays - Urban Gorilla £2 after 11pm
Saturdays - Threads £3 after 10pm

I assume you don't charge £3.30 for a bottle of Corona on a weekend night anymore then?

We are open till 1,30 most Friday and Saturday nights and would like to ask the question if we should open later?

why dont you try trippets? free to get in b4 11, and they have a live band on. the atmosphere is always buzzin

Not sure why the Harley is open until 4am, but it's pretty cool. There's always a decent DJ, a few drink promotions (think it's £2.80 for a double vodka and mixer, £1.80 for a bottle of Asahi) and the staff are always friendly and efficient. It may cost you a whole £1 to get in though after a certain time (think 11pm).

Cool, might have to give Harley try sometime :)

the double vodka mixer off is only on weekdays im sure

and no crystal is not cheap on weekends, how bartender promotoed it though you would believe it was though. very misleading

was in the harley this last weekend.

Good chilled out atmosphere. sound tunes! and only a pound to get in!!!!!

we left around 2am though to find something greasy....

My vote goes to either DQs or Kasbah

WestWay is open til about 2am, its at the side of Reflex bar on west street and across road from Walkabout so you could do a pub crawl near first before you go in. There is a DJ and a dancefloor and music is always a good mixture. The Bedroom is across the road but i'm not too bothered about going in their.

Me and my friends the past few times we have been out have started at one end of West Street and worked our way down to WestWays.

I didn't know about the Harley opening late so i may give that a whirl one night.

If you only noticed it the other night how can you say it always stinks of weed? I cannot control the outside world (although I have a team of scientists working on it..)
There is NO weed smoking in my bar.. Fank you..
As for dance music orientated this is a music venue. we have funk, indie, reggae, house depending on what you're into there' one night of the week for you.. If you love music we love you.. Big smiles (somewhat like this one ->) :D
