its my birthday next Saturday (24th!) and my bloke is coming home to see me YAY, we are gonna do something, just me and him! but i would like to go out for a few drinks with my mates, probably on the Thursday after my bday, any ideas where we could go for a few?? im in the Hillsborough area, but dont wanna drink down there, any other ideas that doesnt involve travelling for aggeeesssss. Town is the furthest i will go!!

West Street Live do an excellent Blues night on a Thursday

Try The Ivory on Regents Terrace (just off West Street) They have live music Weds- Sat. Great cocktails, great bar staff (ask for matt he makes the best cocktails in town).

Well MG I would always recommend somewere like Bia Hoi or Reflex or Empire, they are all lively and fun places.

Went in Halcyon Bar on Div St a few wks back - thats a really nice place, its more chilled out tho - hope this helps :bigsmile:

ivory is sound, but there is a new cocktail bar next to vodka rev which serves gorgeous cocktails - think its called 23 or something like that - next to blundells - a bit pricey but defo classy!!!
