One of the things that has always really annoyed me about political party debate is that it always seems to devolve into "were not as bad as the other guy" which is never a very eddifying spectacle! We already have a reasons not to vote for Tory / Labour so as an experiment lets have a positive politics thread where you only state the position of the people you would like to see in power and their merits with no reference to how mad / bad / innefective anyone else is.

So can your chosen political party stand on its own merits? Go on I dares ya!
