I had a bet with some friends recently.

I said that there used to be a shoe shop on London Road(almost opposite where Dixon Ford used to be) in the mid/late 80's to the early 90's (I think), definately called "Fanny Farts Shoe Emporium"(Gold lettering on black background, I think).

I remember going past on the bus in stitches. Does anyone else remember it?

That must be the place that Staningtons finest means when he goes off on one and says FFS, followed by :rant: :D

There certainly was a shop on London Rd called 'Fanny Farts' :D

I remember that shop.I think they use to sell loads of Doc Martens
